The Borealis Strategy & Transformation team acts as strategic thought-partners to senior executives, tackling complex AI transformation challenges. The Borealis Strategy & Transformation team acts as strategic thought-partners to senior executives, tackling complex AI transformation challenges. We catalyze cross-functional collaboration, drive capability development, and advance Borealis’ strategic agenda across Lines of Business (LOBs), the Operating Committee, and Group Head levels. As a Senior Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping RBC’s AI future, working closely with high-performing teams to deliver impactful, enterprise-wide solutions. Your responsibilities include: Borealis Strategic Prioritization Define and develop target state Borealis priorities, structure, and operating model to support enterprise AI ambitions Develop robust recommendations on AI capability priorities and resource allocation Conduct comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses to support the Head/SVP of Borealis and cross-functional leadership Product Strategy & Roadmap Support product strategy and roadmap development for flagship AI tools including RBC Assist Pro, Lumina, and other Borealis platforms Ensure product strategies are well-developed, articulated, and aligned across business units and with enterprise perspectives Drive product adoption and value realization across the organization AI Initiative Enablement Support lines of business in scoping, prioritizing, and implementing AI initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy and best practices Develop business cases & implementation roadmaps for AI solutions Identify and articulate benefits including revenue opportunities, cost savings, & efficiencies Executive leadership support Provide strategic support to the Head/SVP of Borealis on key decisions, initiatives, and stakeholder engagement Manage work streams and present engagement deliverables to senior leaders, raising risks and providing mitigation strategies Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis You’re our ideal candidate if you have: 5+ years of experience in Strategy / Transformation, Consulting, Product Strategy / Management experience ideally within Financial Services, FinTech or Technology focused organizations AI / Emerging Technology Strategy experience: Demonstrated background in AI strategy, digital transformation, or emerging technology adoption in a business context Product or Platform Strategy experience: Experience developing strategy and roadmaps for technology products or platforms Project & Program Management: Demonstrated ability to design, scope, and manage complex strategic initiatives in ambiguous environments Executive-level communication: Strong written and oral presentation skills with the ability to distill complex concepts for senior audiences Strategic analysis capabilities: Proficiency in frameworks, analytical approaches, and business modeling Interpersonal excellence: Ability to build trust and strong relationships at all levels of the organization, from frontline teams to senior executives Comfort with ambiguity: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; skilled at scoping work efforts to bring clarity and flexibility to deliver high-impact results Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence Strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word and business modelling experience Nice-to-have MBA or graduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent Minimum two years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy, transformation and enablement What's in it for you?
