About the Job Position: Senior Manager, Logistics (Full-time, permanent) Wages: $90,000 – $95,000 with eligibility for a 10% annual bonus. Shifts: Wednesday 1:00am–7:00am; Thursday–Saturday 7:00pm–7:00am. Location: Winnipeg, MB. The incumbent will maintain a high level interface with the customer on a regular basis. Responsibilities Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfaction Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation Identify and solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity and results Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment at assigned accounts Maintain open and effective communications within the work groups and with other parts of the organization Review data, identify and implement necessary actions as required May manage the profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization Lead a proactive safety program consistent with company policy to provide a safe work environment Instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training and processes Monitor maintenance of equipment for assigned work groups using checklists and observations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications H.S. diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field required Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred One (1) year or more customer interaction preferred Ability to create and develop an inclusive and engaged work environment Ability to work independently and as a team member Strong organization, analytical and computer skills Excellent problem solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel Important Notes Some positions may require additional screening (employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer-specific background requirements).
