Overview

Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors responsible for turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions.
Maintain a high level of customer interaction, interfacing directly with the customer to resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Strategic operational planning and execution for the operation.
Identify and resolve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity, and results.
Hire, supervise, develop, and manage performance for employees; maintain a positive employee relations environment at assigned account(s).
Maintain open and effective communication within work groups and with other parts of the organization.
Review data and implement necessary actions as required.
Possibly manage profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the operation.
Lead a proactive safety program aligned with company policy to provide a safe work environment; instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training, and processes.
Monitor maintenance of equipment for assigned work groups using checklists and observations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; master’s degree preferred.
Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or industry-related field; three or more years of managing, leading, and developing direct reports preferred.
Experience with Profit & Loss responsibilities preferred; ability to manage P&L may be necessary depending on scope.
Strong problem-solving, communication (oral and written), and leadership capabilities; ability to build professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible and self-driven in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills; detail-oriented with excellent follow-up.
Ability to create an inclusive and engaged work environment.
Customer interaction experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Wage: $90,000 – $95,000 per year, plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
Shifts: Sunday–Tuesday 7:00 am–7:00 pm and Wednesday 7:00 am–1:00 pm ( Winnipeg, MB ).
