Senior Legal Counsel (Investments) at ZSA Canada — NeverHard

Overview We are working with the Building Ontario Fund ("BOF"), a provincial Crown agency backed by $8 billion in seed funding, in search of a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing Investment Legal team in Toronto. This is a unique opportunity to join BOF at an exciting stage of growth and play a lead role on complex, high-profile infrastructure financing transactions across the energy, transportation, affordable housing, long-term care, critical minerals, and municipal/community infrastructure sectors. Responsibilities Act as the in-house legal lead on sophisticated debt/equity financing of infrastructure and real estate transactions. Manage external counsel, negotiate complex bespoke agreements, and provide commercially minded advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership. Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience gained in a leading law firm or sophisticated in-house environment, ideally with exposure to project finance, infrastructure, banking and finance, debt/equity financing, or real estate finance matters. Prior infrastructure or public sector experience is an asset, but not required.
