This firm operates as a true full-service geotechnical group — combining office-based design, field investigation, laboratory testing, and construction support. Their work spans projects both large and small, across urban and remote environments, and includes everything from ground investigations through to the design and delivery of complex geotechnical systems.

You will work closely with a strong local team of geotechnical professionals in Edmonton, while also leveraging a much broader regional network of specialists across Canada.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and delivering small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal stage through to completion
Managing project planning, technical analysis, reporting, budgets, schedules, and client communication
Acting as a technical leader on complex geotechnical challenges and reviews
Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate engineers
Coordinating and leading small project teams
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and understanding client needs
Identifying opportunities for technical, digital, and process improvements
Contributing to innovation initiatives, including the use of advanced tools and emerging technologies
Why This Role
A close-knit, collaborative team environment with the backing of a large, well-established organization
Exposure to diverse and complex geotechnical projects across infrastructure, buildings, and specialty sectors
Access to modern tools, digital workflows, and innovative approaches
Clear pathways for professional growth, leadership, and continued technical development
Opportunities to shape technical direction and mentor the next generation of engineers
Flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance
Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits

Postgraduate degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university
Approximately 20+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting
Eligible to live and work in Canada
