is recruiting for a
Senior Finance & Investment Operations Specialist
on behalf of a confidential global investment management firm. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role within a growing investment operations team. You will take ownership of critical functions that support the firm's investment platform while helping shape processes, improve systems, and influence how the team continues to evolve. Working closely with colleagues across multiple international offices, you will have the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives, solve complex operational challenges, and make a visible impact across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead key investment operations and fund administration work streams, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and expertise.
Oversee areas such as financial reporting, tax, audit coordination, corporate actions, performance attribution, or fee management.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and operational reporting.
Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Partner with technology teams to enhance systems, automate workflows, and support new initiatives.
Provide technical guidance on accounting and operational matters within a complex investment environment.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic projects and business initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and global business partners.
Mentor team members and contribute to the ongoing development of the broader finance and operations function.
Take ownership of complex issues, proactively identify solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
CPA designation is required.
CFA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.
Five to seven years of post-designation experience.
Public accounting experience, ideally with a Big Four firm, or equivalent senior industry experience.
Experience in financial services, investment management, or fund operations is a strong asset.
Demonstrated success leading complex projects and improving business processes.
Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in financial reporting, tax, or audit.
Experience partnering with technology teams to improve systems and operational processes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
Self-driven, intellectually curious, and motivated by solving complex business challenges.
Remuneration
Competitive base salary $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.
The total compensation package also includes:
