Senior Estimator - Curtain Wall / Window Facades at Express Employment Professionals — NeverHard

Express Employment Professionals, Delta is searching for a Senior Estimator for our Window and Curtain Wall Manufacturing client to lead cost estimation for aluminum window, door, curtainwall and facade projects. You will analyze drawings, perform quantity take‑offs, manage supplier pricing, and mentor junior estimators. Responsibilities - Review RFQ packages, drawings, specifications and tender documents to prepare cost estimates. - Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for aluminum materials (extrusions, sheet metal, glazing, hardware, etc.). - Solicit and compare pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors. - Prepare detailed pricing for labor, fabrication, glazing, installation and logistics. - Conduct risk assessments prior to submitting quotes. - Lead handover meetings with project management, design and production teams - Coach and mentor junior estimators; - maintain historical cost databases. - Track bid outcomes to improve estimating accuracy. Qualifications & Skills - Post‑secondary diploma/degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Architectural), Construction Management or related field. - **7–10 years of estimating experience** in aluminum, glass or facade industry (windows, doors, curtainwall required). - Expert proficiency in Revit and advanced Excel skills. - Ability to read architectural and structural drawings. - Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills. - Excellent written and verbal English communication. - Proven leadership or mentoring ability. - Self‑starter capable of managing multiple deadlines with mínimal supervision. **Location:** Richmond, BC **Employment Type:** Full-time, Permanent **Salary Range:** $80,000 – $115,000 per year (commensurate with experience) - Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits. - Career growth opportunities within an expanding organization.
