At Analog Mechanical, we are a prime mechanical contractor delivering commercial mechanical construction services across plumbing, heating and cooling, gas fitting, HVAC, controls, insulation, sprinklers and fire suppression, and refrigeration. Based in Calgary, we are a growing team known for safe, timely, high-quality work and a practical, solutions-oriented culture where people are trusted to own their role, learn, and grow.
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to take ownership of our estimating function and help drive the next phase of Analog Mechanical’s growth. This role is ideal for someone who can work confidently across a wide range of bid sizes, step into a well-defined estimating structure and established tendering processes, and continue building strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients across the industry. The right person will be detail-oriented, commercially aware, comfortable with digital estimating tools, and motivated by the opportunity to grow into a leadership role over time.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on estimating role with meaningful room to grow. Analog Mechanical is in a strong growth phase, with a solid project portfolio in commercial and multi-family construction and an established bidding function that supports continued scale. This hire is intended to bring dedicated capacity, greater ownership, and increased throughput to the tendering process.
Reporting to the owners, this Estimator will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the function. Over time, this person is expected to help enhance systems, improve efficiency, and potentially mentor a Junior Estimator as the team grows.
Analog Mechanical was founded in 2014 and has grown steadily serving Calgary’s commercial mechanical construction market. The company has built momentum through larger commercial and multi-family projects while continuing to pursue a diverse mix of work, from service and retrofit opportunities to multi-million-dollar bids. This role is critical to supporting stable, sustainable growth as the business continues to scale.
Success in this role will come from owning the estimating workflow, improving speed and accuracy, and bringing confidence to bid submissions across a varied project mix. In the near term, the focus is on supporting current bid volume, increasing throughput, and helping free up leadership to focus on broader operations and growth.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 12 months, success will be measured by the Estimator’s ability to bring ownership, accuracy, and momentum to Analog Mechanical’s tendering process while supporting the company’s broader growth goals.
