We are looking for experienced Senior Engineers to support the planning, design, execution and delivery of engineering projects across Canada and Australia. The position is suitable for experienced professionals from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Construction, Energy, Utilities and other relevant engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, coordinating engineering activities, supporting project delivery and ensuring work meets required technical, quality, safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
Review project requirements, technical specifications, drawings and engineering documentation
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and project teams
Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and other engineering disciplines
Develop, review and approve technical documents, designs, calculations and engineering reports where applicable
Monitor engineering work to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards
Support project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and technical execution
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders
Review contractor and supplier technical submissions and provide engineering recommendations
Identify technical issues, design conflicts, project risks and potential delays, and assist in developing effective solutions
Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, site inspections and project coordination meetings
Monitor project progress and provide technical updates to Project Managers and senior management
Support procurement by reviewing technical requirements, equipment specifications and supplier proposals
Assist with cost estimation, technical evaluations and resource planning where required
Ensure engineering activities are delivered in accordance with quality, safety and environmental requirements
Support testing, commissioning, installation and handover activities where applicable
Investigate technical problems and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
Maintain accurate technical records, reports, drawings and project documentation
Contribute to process improvements, engineering standards and project efficiency initiatives
