Job Overview: Requirement/Must Have: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered; formal education strongly preferred). 2+ years of experience working in or with public-sector environments with awareness of public-sector constraints and privacy legislation (e.g., FOIP). 5+ years of proven experience providing architecture risk assessments, architecture analysis/assessment, capturing and implementing business rules, and determining data mart content and data structures. Experience with Kimball Data Modeling and Data Warehousing/Data Marts. Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL/Oracle/PL-SQL) and ETL processes. Experience with Microsoft Azure and Power BI. Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Profiling. Responsibilities: Review existing data marts and perform detailed data profiling. Analyze and create design and mapping specifications. Identify Dimensions required for Facts and complete detailed data profiling of tables included in Facts. Develop and test Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes. Develop Power BI reports for testing for several Dimensions. Perform testing of Dimensions and Fact for quality assurance. Update as-is data models for new Fact attributes. Stage the required data and address minor fixes in delivered data marts. Facilitate the effective definition and management of the data architecture including principles, strategies, methods, and standards. Encourage data models and practices that reduce data redundancy by promoting reuse and sharing. Identify and document enterprise data requirements. Develop and lead transition plans that guide current data to its ideal future state. Contribute to the definition and development of the enterprise architecture framework and corporate solution design. Provide information, advice, guidance, and consultancy to projects aligning to the data architecture. Establish and participate in design reviews and regular architectural reviews. Provide feedback and lessons learned at project close out. Nice to Have: Completed training in database administration. Completed training in SQL Server reporting services (SSRS). Data Warehousing certifications such as TDWI's Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), CFI's Business Intelligence and Data Analyst (BIDA), or Kimball Group Data Warehouse training. 5+ years of experience developing using software such as SAP/Sybase's PowerDesigner, ERWin, Oracle Designer, SQL Developer Data Modeler, or Microsoft Visio. 3+ years of experience using JOIN and JIMS data structures and knowledge of business rules based on Judicial processes. 2+ years of experience working in or with Court environments. 1+ years of experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines. 5+ years of strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
