The Transformation Office is responsible for translating CIHI's new transformation vision into coordinated execution across the organization. The office ensures organizational investments are aligned to strategic priorities interdependencies across initiatives are effectively managed, and project, change and benefits management practices are well established and embedded across the organization. It promotes new ways of working that enable CIHI to maintain agility and pace in advancing CIHI's transformation. The Senior Consultant provides strategic leadership in planning and executing priority initiatives for the Office. The role plays a key part in advancing CIHI's Transformation vision by enabling alignment across Strategic Initiatives and strengthening governance and prioritization processes. The Senior Consultant is a critical resource that will help advance new behaviours and processes so that transformational outcomes and objectives are achieved and sustained. What you'll do 1. Translate Transformation Office priorities into actionable roadmaps, reports and deliverables, including the development of enterprise tools, frameworks, templates and playbooks that will strengthen transformation delivery. 2. Advise Executive Leadership Team and the Senior Management Team on strengthening the connection between strategy and execution by enhancing , governance, advancing project and change management practices, and ensuring major initiatives are aligned, integrated, and focused on delivering organizational outcomes. 3. Develop and maintain CIHIs Transformation Blueprint, articulating the transformation vision and establishing a common language that builds traceability between desired transformation outcomes, internal capabilities and initiatives. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to identify performance indicators and develop benefits measurement plans and dashboards to track deliverables, milestones and outcomes. 5. Develop integrated change management and adoption plans to monitor adoption and uptake of Strategic Initiatives. 6. Carry out procurement and vendor evaluations for the Transformation Office deliverables including oversight of statement-of-work deliverables and acceptance criteria. 7. Bring leaders together across divisional boundaries to manage interdependencies, prioritize investments, and ensure transformation efforts collectively advance strategic objectives. 8. Build and engage internal networks to strengthen collaboration, communication and trust. 9. Develop and monitor branch operational plans and budgets, and conduct corporate reporting activities to support effective operations. What you'll bring to the table Undergraduate degree in business administration, public policy, health information sciences or social sciences or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience, including progressive experience leading transformation initiatives, strategy execution, program/portfolio management, or consulting, ideally within health systems, digital health, or public sector. Experience working in the field of health information, analysis and research is an asset. Demonstrated leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with measurable benefits and outcomes. Extensive knowledge of CIHI’s business, and the businesses of its key stakeholders (e.g., policy makers, health system managers, governments). Innovative and strategic thinker. Demonstrated ability to develop trusted partnerships at all levels. The ability to effectively engage stakeholders by empathizing with diverse viewpoints, fostering consensus, and guiding discussions towards desired outcomes. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including preparing briefs and discussion papers, and delivering presentations. Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills. Additional Requirements Primary locations: Toronto or Ottawa. Occasional travel may be required. Must comply with all CIHI workplace policies, including privacy and confidentiality.
