What You'll Be Doing You’ll be joining CIBC’s Capital Markets Technology team, specifically within the Electronic Foreign Exchange group, as a Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis. Your role involves executing business analysis activities to advance electronic FX trading business initiatives and ensuring project success. You will serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, act as a single point of contact for requirement expertise, actively participate in all phases of the project life cycle, support end‑to‑end project implementation, and act as a subject‑matter expert in both business and technology. How You’ll Succeed Understand and document complex business requirements in close collaboration with business partners. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Facilitate solution‑design discussions and assemble client‑focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution‑design documents covering scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Lead and mentor the team, support end‑to‑end project implementation, and provide guidance to a diverse group of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and help resolve organizational, operational, and process challenges. Who You Are 5+ years of experience as a business systems analyst handling the entire project lifecycle from requirement gathering to production deployment in an Agile environment. Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into complex technical solutions. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, able to present technical details to a non‑technical audience. At least 5 years of SQL experience. Experience in Linux/Unix environments is a strong asset. Prior experience in Capital Markets trading platforms or large enterprise software solutions (e.g., Celer, ION, Fluent). Experience with Bloomberg, FXall, 360T, and FX Connect is a strong asset. Experience with test‑automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Verifix) is a plus. Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. What CIBC Offers Competitive salary and incentive pay.
