Senior Business Development Lawyer - Permanent - 19602About the Opportunity Our client, an established and technology forward Canadian law firm, is looking for a Senior Business Development Lawyer to join their growing team! This role is ideal for a licensed professional and natural closer who wants to own a significant book of business and help shape how a modern legal practice sells and scales. You will work with a steady flow of warm inbound prospects, so there is no cold calling. Duties include but are not limited to: Advise inbound prospective clients on immigration matters and convert them into signed retainers Own a multimillion dollar annual revenue target, closing efficiently without compromising quality or compliance Build playbooks, scripts and training, and coach junior team members Work with internal technology teams to improve intake, qualification and follow up Use AI tools every day to manage your pipeline and work more efficiently About You The successful candidate will have the following: Member in good standing of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society, or an RCIC in good standing with the CICC A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, whether in legal technology sales, originating work at a firm, or running your own practice Motivation from uncapped commission and energy from a full calendar of client conversations Hands on experience with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT A systems thinker who enjoys ownership, speed and a fast paced environment Immigration experience is an asset but not required About the Job This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with other major Canadian cities considered Competitive base salary of $130,000 to $160,000 plus uncapped commission, with total earning potential of $300,000 to $350,000 Please note that all candidates must be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
