Job title: Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer , focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data and analytics platforms, including Power BI. Key Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Jenkins Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform Support and optimize Power BI platform environments Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable, cost-effective architectures Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience Proficiency in core Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, API Management Strong Azure networking knowledge (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, DNS) Hands-on Terraform experience for IaC Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD Power BI platform administration and deployment experience Data engineering fundamentals (pipelines, data lakes, ingestion patterns) Nice to Have - Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203) Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost governance Familiarity with Azure DevOps
