Job DescriptionJob Description SENIOR ARCHITECT TORONTO, ON Compensation: $110,000 - 140,000 + Bonus ABOUT THE ROLE We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected architecture and design practice in Toronto who is looking ot add a strong Senior Architect to join their growing team. Recognized for delivering impactful educational, institutional, civic, recreation, and community-focused projects across Ontario, this firm has built a strong reputation for design excellence, technical expertise, and collaborative project delivery. Their work helps shape schools, community centres, recreation facilities, public buildings, and other essential spaces that serve communities for generations. This opportunity is ideal for a senior architectural professional who enjoys balancing project leadership, technical delivery, client engagement, and team mentorship. As a key member of the studio, you will lead complex projects through all phases of design and construction, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You will collaborate directly with senior leadership on project strategy, design direction, and delivery while contributing to the continued growth and success of the practice. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution Registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) or eligible for registration 10+ years of architectural experience within the Canadian market Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across educational, institutional, civic, recreation, and community-focused projects Proven ability to lead projects from concept through construction administration Strong technical knowledge, detailing, contract administration, and construction documentation experience Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and managing complex stakeholder groups Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support junior and intermediate staff Experience working with public-sector clients, including school boards, municipalities, post-secondary institutions, recreation authorities, and community organizations Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code, accessibility standards (AODA), municipal approvals, and public procurement processes Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows Experience with stakeholder consultation, public engagement, and consensus-building processes is considered a strong asset STUDIO CULTURE & DYNAMIC Join a collaborative and design-focused studio with an established reputation in the educational, institutional, and public-sector market Work on meaningful projects that support learning, recreation, civic engagement, and community development throughout Ontario Be part of a team that values technical excellence, innovation, and thoughtful design solutions Enjoy direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in key project and strategic decisions Supportive environment that encourages mentorship, professional development, and knowledge sharing Opportunity to lead significant projects while helping shape the next generation of architectural professionals Clear pathway toward Associate-level and senior leadership opportunities for the right individual WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?
