Job DescriptionJob Description The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our firm. This role is ideal for someone with public practice experience who thrives in a client-facing environment and is looking to take the next step in their accounting career. You will play a key role in delivering assurance and tax engagements while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review Compilations, Review, and Audit engagements Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns (T2, T1) Work closely with clients to provide accounting, tax, and business advisory services Assist with tax planning and compliance for owner-managed businesses Lead and manage client engagements from planning to completion Review work of junior staff and provide mentorship and guidance Liaise with clients, government agencies (CRA), and other stakeholders Identify and recommend improvements to client accounting processes Requirements CPA designation (required) 3–6+ years of experience in public accounting (Canada) Strong knowledge of ASPE, CAS, and Canadian tax regulations Experience with accounting and tax software (e.g., CaseWare, TaxCyle, QuickBooks, iFirm) Excellent communication and client service skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs Leadership or supervisory experience Exposure to a variety of industries (e.g., professional services, construction, retail) What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive health and dental benefits Paid professional development and CPA support Clear path for career progression within the firm Collaborative and supportive team culture About Us We are a growing Canadian public accounting firm dedicated to providing high-quality assurance, tax, and advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses.
