This is a key role within the organization, ideal for a career-minded professional who can operate both strategically and tactically to service a diverse client base. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, along with experience in tax compliance and a proactive, client-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns, alongside handling GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT filings Oversee the end-to-end preparation of working paper files and financial statements Act as a direct point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring top-tier service and compliance guidance Manage payroll administration and the timely preparation of annual T-slips and summaries Oversee and execute bookkeeping functions as required to keep client files pristine Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Qualifications Holds a recognized Canadian accounting designation Highly proficient with tax and accounting software (specifically Profile and QuickBooks), alongside MS Office Solid grasp of Canadian tax compliance and accounting principles Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills; working knowledge of Italian is considered an asset Self-motivated team player who thrives under tight deadlines in a high-energy environment Compensation Salary commensurate with experience
