Position: Full Time Security Guard Site: New Groves Hospital Hours: Continental Nights (1900-0700) Payrate: $20.24/hr. Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement after 88 Hours Posting Date: July 17, 2026 Internal Posting Closing Date: July 22, 2026 External Posting Closing Date: July 31, 2026 Key responsibilities: • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure site safety and security. • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, reporting suspicious activity immediately to the appropriate authorities. • Control access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. • Respond quickly to emergencies and assist hospital staff during crises and evacuations. • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing directions and ensuring compliance with hospital policies. • De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and handle all interactions calmly and professionally. • Accurately document daily activities, incidents, accidents, breaches, and security concerns. • Work closely with hospital staff and local law enforcement to maintain a coordinated security effort and ensure everyone's safety. • Ensure visitor and patient protocols are followed, addressing violations in accordance with hospital safety standards.
