Schedule: Monday - Friday 1500-2300 - Full Availability Required

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in
Winnipeg, Manitoba
.
Requirement:
Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
Experience with report writing and note-taking.
Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
Valid
Manitoba security guard license.
Must be eligible to work in Canada over
40 hours per week.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
Must be
at least 25 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
Must be proficient using computer
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must have a Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver’s License (ability to operate a shuttle van)
Ability to clearly communicate using a radio
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors for long hours in all weather conditions
Strong computer proficiency and experience in monitoring CCTV cameras.
Ability to respond to incidents and emergencies
Ability to clearly communicate using a radio
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
Access control for the facility/area
Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
