Position Overview
Allied Universal is currently seeking a professional and dependable Mobile Security Guard to provide high-quality security services for a prestigious financial institution. This role is responsible for conducting scheduled mobile patrols, monitoring client sites, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observation skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled mobile patrols of assigned sites, including exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeters
Perform routine security inspections of buildings, entrances, doors, windows, and restricted access areas
Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and security equipment to identify and respond to suspicious activity
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and service requests
Investigate and document security breaches, hazards, accidents, and unusual occurrences
Maintain detailed and accurate daily occurrence reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation
Provide assistance, directions, and support to clients, employees, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence
Liaise with emergency responders, law enforcement, and internal personnel as required
Conduct regular inspections of company vehicles and security equipment to ensure operational readiness
Identify site vulnerabilities and report security concerns with recommendations for corrective action
Follow all company procedures, site-specific post orders, and emergency response protocols
Participate in required training programs and maintain compliance with all operational standards
Qualifications
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Clean driver's abstract and demonstrated safe driving history
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous security experience considered an asset
Experience with CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and alarm response
Strong written communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
