Job DescriptionJob Description Role: Scrum Master Contract work: 37.7 hours (Overtime may be required) RFC Number: 2026-032 Location: Hybrid (required 12 days on-site per month in Ottawa) Terme: Start Jul 27th, Term: 12 months (Optional extension: 8 months) Security Clearance : Reliability Language: English Scope: The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank: Under the direction of Assistant Director, Container Orchestration Services, MidTier and Automation: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospective meetings) Use JIRA to assign and track tasks, ensuring resource activities are aligned with project/initiative timelines Assist product owners with the product backlogs, prioritization and squad formation Communicate with clients as needed to clarify requirements and provide initiative updates Provide project updates via email, meetings, and documentation to keep internal teams and external stakeholders aligned Support the resolution of outstanding items by submitting and tracking tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring issues areappropriately escalated Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Bank to support the execution of specific engagements and educationinitiatives Identify potential risks and anticipate points of resistance Develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress Other related activities and deliverables as required Qualifications & Skills The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills: Certified ScrumMaster / Professional (CSM or CSP) A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience working as ScrumMaster and leading multiple Operational IT Scrum Teams A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience working in an IT operations environment (e.g.patching/service requests, incidents, etc.) Demonstrated Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and reporting Additional Qualifications Certified Agile Leader Kanban Management Professional (KMP) Dealing with project delivery and customer needs
