Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for an SLP-CCC seeking a dynamic assignment covering a maternity leave from August 12, 2026, through November 6, 2026. In this full-time role, you'll have the chance to work closely with an elementary caseload of 2nd and 3rd graders-all in the same welcoming school building. This assignment features a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, allowing you to deliver focused speech and language support. Experience with AAC devices is a significant asset, as you'll collaborate with students who benefit from augmentative and alternative communication tools. Ideal candidates will offer specialized expertise and a compassionate approach, helping students communicate effectively and thrive. Qualifications & Experience: Current Illinois SLP-CCC license and valid PEL (Professional Educator License) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in grades 2 and 3 Familiarity with AAC devices and their integration into student support plans Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, staff, and families Excellent verbal and written communication skills Responsibilities: Provide speech and language services to a caseload of 40 second and third grade students Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans Support students' use of AAC devices and assistive technologies Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Offer guidance and consultation to teachers and families Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines This contract offers a competitive weekly pay structure, with healthcare benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, 401K matching, as well as the support of a dedicated recruiter.
