We are currently seeking Part-Time Drivers and Route Support Drivers in Kingston & surrounding region. Part-Time Drivers will be assigned to open routes, while Route Support Drivers will assist with temporary vacancies and support future route opportunities.

Your role:
Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition *which you are paid for!
Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicle
Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle
Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations
Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers
Requirements
Your profile:
You are safety focused
You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year
If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered—full training is provided at no cost to you!
You are 21 years of age or overYou are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areasYou have the ability to work independentlyYou are available for the required shifts:
Monday to Friday approximately 6:00am to 9:15am
AND
1:00pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route
You possess solid communication skillsYou enjoy being around children of all agesYou are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditionsYou are comfortable driving large vehiclesYou can have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

We’re looking for drivers to welcome to our team for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a dedicated route and become a familiar, trusted face in your community
As a part-time driver, you’ll be assigned a route from September through June giving you the stability of a set schedule while still enjoying the flexibility of part-time, split shift work
You’ll play a key role in safely transporting students each day and building meaningful connections along the way
While routes may occasionally adjust for changes in student needs or programs, the driver remains on the route as long as there are no major location changes. This provides a sense of consistency and routine for drivers, students, parents, and school staff

Route Details - Route Support Drivers
Route Support Drivers play an essential role that keep our operations moving and our students safe!
As a Route Support Driver, you’ll step in wherever you’re needed most, whether covering for a driver who’s away or supporting routes during busy periods. You’re the go-to professional who ensures students get to school safely in the morning and home again at the end of the day. This role is critical to maintaining reliable service, keeping routes on schedule, and making sure no student is ever left behind!
This position is perfect for drivers who enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have the opportunity to operate a range of vehicles while supporting routes across Kingston and surrounding area
No two days are the same. You’ll experience different routes, work with diverse teams, and connect with communities across the region. It’s a great way to build your skills, gain exposure, and stay engaged in meaningful work
Route Support Drivers can expect between 12 to 25 hours per week, with additional opportunities to pick up extra hours by assisting with operational needs such as vehicle moves and switch outs

Hourly Rate:
We offer a competitive hourly pay $23/hour for

hours, including driving, admin time, meetings, etc.

School routes are paid a minimum 4 hours per day!
Charter work is available for those interested in picking up hours beyond their regular school route!
