Job Description - SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant (General Ledger) Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid 4 Days Onsite) Must be local to Downtown Toronto, ON Visa - Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Location Requirement Must currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Ability to work onsite in Downtown Toronto 4 days per week is required. Visa Status Open to candidates legally authorized to work in Canada. ??Employment Type: Contract, Full-Time We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) to support a major implementation initiative for a financial services client. This role will work closely with both client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams in a hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration and implementation activities with a primary focus on General Ledger (GL). Configure and maintain financial master data, reference data, and related system settings. Support ECC-to-S/4HANA conversion and transformation initiatives. Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure successful delivery and system integration. Provide functional expertise, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications 8 10+ years of SAP FI consulting experience, including hands-on configuration and implementation. Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly General Ledger (GL). Experience participating in at least 1 2 ECC-to-S/4HANA migration/conversion projects. Proven experience with SAP Finance configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Financial Services industry experience is highly preferred Experience working within global delivery models and coordinating with offshore teams.
