This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Salesforce Lead Developer in Canada.
This senior, hands-on engineering role sits at the center of a high-impact digital transformation initiative for a leading financial services environment. You will design and deliver Salesforce-based solutions that power knowledge-enabled contact center capabilities, working closely with enterprise architects and cross-functional stakeholders. Acting as the primary onshore technical lead, you will bridge communication and execution between client teams and offshore engineers. The role requires deep Salesforce expertise combined with strong integration and solution design capabilities in a regulated environment. You will contribute directly to architecture decisions while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing implementations. This is a highly collaborative position where technical leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication are essential to success.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for leading Salesforce design and development efforts while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and scalability standards in a complex, distributed delivery environment.
Contribute hands-on to Salesforce development across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative configurations
Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders to define solution approaches and support key technical decisions
Serve as the primary onshore technical point of contact, coordinating closely with offshore engineering teams
Provide design guidance, code reviews, and technical mentorship to offshore developers
Design and implement secure integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including Knowledge Bot and retrieval APIs
Utilize tools such as Named Credentials, OAuth, API gateways, and MuleSoft for robust integration patterns
Evaluate and recommend architectural approaches for Knowledge Bot and conversational AI integration (e.g., Agentforce or embedded UI patterns)
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and performance optimization principles
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code while supporting testing, troubleshooting, and optimization activities
Collaborate with QA, admins, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Requirements:
This role requires extensive Salesforce development experience and strong technical leadership capabilities in enterprise and hybrid delivery environments.
8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC), including senior-level technical leadership responsibilities
Strong experience with Service Cloud, Knowledge, and contact center implementations
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and governor limits
Proven experience designing and implementing integrations using Named Credentials, OAuth, APIs, and middleware such as MuleSoft
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models and guiding distributed engineering teams
Strong client-facing communication skills with ability to lead technical discussions and design sessions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with Agentforce, Einstein Bots, or similar AI/conversational solutions is a plus
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Architect-level certifications) are considered an asset
Experience in financial services, wealth management, or insurance environments is highly desirable
Benefits:
Competitive compensation aligned with senior technical leadership roles
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
Flexible remote/hybrid work arrangements
Retirement savings and financial wellness programs
Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days
Professional development support and certification opportunities
Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
Inclusive and collaborative work environment with global teams
