The
Sales lead
is focused on driving executional excellence, sales growth, and relationship building within the region. The
Sales lead
will use their exceptional sales and relationship building skills to deliver a best-in-class in-store experience to their customers.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required for travel within Ontario
Primary Responsibilities
Drive all Sales Fundamentals within Region:
Builds and maintains strong relationships with DOL Store managers as well as District Managers in territory
Ensures all stores are executed the Wonderbrands Way: planogram compliance, visible pricing, optimized use of shelf and secondary displays
Support the sell-in of POS materials to stores, ensures these are communicated and delivered to the Specialist in a timely manner that lines up with innovation launches or holiday schedules
Collaboratively works with SLM and ASL peers to drive executional priorities
Educates stores on our product features and benefits, and how these fit with their business
Achieve Sales Targets and KPIs:
Achieves sales revenue and store visit objectives within area
Consistently monitors DOL store performance and collaboratively reacts to opportunities within area
Gathers and reports on field insights using Go Spot Check in all LCL stores
Supports DOL Specialist/Stores in business development & with promotion plans
Foster a High-Performing Environment with DOL stores in your Region:
Business Reviews with specific locations on overall business results, opportunities and upcoming programs
Participates and helps lead all new store launches with clear communication back to Wonderbrands leadership team.
Set up all new store openings as well as store re-lines according to WB execution strategy. Install shelf strips as well as POS material
Required Experience
The Sales Lead role is ideal for an individual with 3-5 years experience as a field sales representative with merchandising experience who is eager to learn, take initiative, and grow within a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong willingness to learn Wonderbrands DSD sales processes, execute daily tasks with excellence, and consistently support sales objectives. A passion for driving sales, combined with high attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, is essential. This role is well suited for someone who is motivated to develop retail and leadership skills, contribute to team success, and grow sales through strong execution and customer-focused support.
