As a
Business Development & Marketing Coordinator
, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Development and Marketing teams through opportunity tracking, client engagement activities, proposal support, and industry event coordination. This position is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Support
Assist with lead tracking and sales pipeline management, including monitoring opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements.
Support the Business Development team by maintaining accurate records and ensuring opportunities are tracked effectively.
Coordinate communication between departments to support business development and pursuit activities.
Assist with prequalification submissions and vendor registration processes across various client and procurement platforms.
Monitor and track opportunities through multiple bid platforms, ensuring key deadlines and requirements are met.
Marketing & Administrative Support
Support the Marketing and Business Development teams with meeting preparation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.
Assist in the preparation and organization of presentations, marketing materials, and client-facing documents.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation related to business development activities.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and tracking activities using internal systems and software.
Event & Client Engagement Coordination
Coordinate logistics for trade shows, industry events, lunch-and-learn sessions, and client-facing meetings.
Manage event registrations, schedules, promotional materials, and attendee communications.
Support post-event follow-up activities and relationship management initiatives.
Assist in fostering positive relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
General Support
Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Business Development and Marketing teams as required.
Contribute to special projects and initiatives that support company growth and strategic objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a coordination, administrative, project support, business development support, or sales support role.
Experience working in the construction, engineering, professional services, or related industries is considered an asset.
Experience supporting proposal, pursuit, or business development activities is preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, preferably Salesforce.
Experience tracking opportunities across multiple procurement and bidding platforms.
Experience with Canva is considered an asset.
