A terrific opportunity now exists for customer service driven & enthusiastic Sales Ambassadors to join the team in our flagship
Dymocks George Street
store

As a Sales Ambassador you will provide only the highest level of customer service. You will certainly have a love of books, gifts and stationery. More importantly, you will be passionate about achieving sales targets by getting our customers the right book for them every time they shop. You will be the sort of person who never wants to stop learning, not only from reading books, but from understanding what the new releases, gifts or stationery are.
You will have some great products to promote and sell to our customers from the most extensive range of books in Australia. You will also offer our fantastic Booklover Program to every customer so they can enjoy great benefits when shopping with Dymocks. As well as helping our customers find their perfect books, you will also be involved in keeping the store fully stocked, working on the registers and assisting in all of the duties involved in working in a busy retail store.

positions available and successful applicants must be able to commit to both weekend and weekday shifts, including evenings as required.

Skills And Experiences
The successful applicants will have:
Previous experience working in a retail sales environment (book retailer highly regarded)
Previous experience achieving personal KPIs and contributing to meeting store KPIs
Demonstrated knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
Keen on learning about our products – our range gets bigger every week!
Ability to provide superior levels of service to every customer, every time they shop
Able to work quickly, accurately and with attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 15kgs
Self-motivated and team orientated
Strong communication skills
Proficient in using retail systems
