Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $26.78-28.84 hourly Facilities & Safety Coordinator Chilliwack, BC | Full-Time $26.78-28.84 per hour dependent on experience Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Facilities & Safety Coordinator to join our Operations team. This unique role combines facilities coordination, administration, and organizational health and safety. Working alongside our Facilities Lead, you'll help ensure our buildings, systems, and safety programs operate smoothly by coordinating work orders, maintaining compliance records, supporting inventory management, and helping keep our staff and facilities safe. What You'll Do Coordinate facilities work orders using MaintainX from intake through completion Maintain facilities documentation, compliance records, and service histories Track inventory and order maintenance, custodial, and PPE supplies Coordinate meeting and event setups across multiple locations Serve as the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC) Coordinator Coordinate fire drills, safety inspections, and emergency preparedness activities Maintain organization-wide safety training records and renewal schedules Support WorkSafeBC compliance and promote a strong culture of workplace safety What You'll Bring Experience in facilities coordination, administration, maintenance, or a related field Knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements and workplace health & safety practices Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills Experience working with Microsoft 365 and computerized systems (experience with MaintainX or similar software is an asset) Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail First Aid Level 1 and WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain) Basic knowledge of building systems, maintenance, or trades is considered an asset Compensation & Benefits $26.78-28.84per hour dependent on experience Employer-paid extended health benefits RRSP matching program Education and training opportunities Why Join Us?
