Soluroc Sudbury (formerly Fuller Industrial) is a premier rubber lining and pipe fabrication facility located in Lively, Ontario, serving the mining and industrial sectors around the world. As part of Soluroc, a Canadian leader in wear-resistant solutions, we design, fabricate, and rubber-line process piping, tanks, fittings, and assemblies that protect equipment from corrosion and abrasion. Our shop is home to some of the largest rubber lining equipment in North America, and our products ship to customers on every continent.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Rubber Liner to join our shop team. In this hands-on role, you will apply protective rubber linings to pipes, fittings, tanks, and custom fabrications. Whether you're an experienced liner or a hard-working candidate eager to learn a specialized trade, we provide the training, tools, and team to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
Prepare steel surfaces for lining, including inspection, solvent wiping, and applying primers, cements, and adhesives
Measure, cut, and fit uncured rubber sheets to pipes, fittings, tanks, and fabricated assemblies
Apply rubber linings by hand, using rollers, stitchers, and hand tools to eliminate air pockets and ensure full adhesion
Assist with curing operations, including loading and unloading the autoclave
Perform quality checks such as spark testing, hardness testing, and visual inspection of finished linings
Trim, buff, and repair linings as required to meet specifications
Read and follow work orders, drawings, and lining specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all health and safety procedures
Support other shop activities (material handling, prep work) as needed
What You Bring
Previous rubber lining, tire, conveyor belt splicing, autobody, or similar hands-on industrial experience is an asset we will train the right candidate
Comfort with physical work: standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to [50] lbs
Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
Ability to read a tape measure and follow written specifications
Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude
Overhead crane and forklift experience an asset
Ability to work safely in an industrial shop environment; safety boots required (PPE provided)
