About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced RPA / Automation Specialist to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of intelligent automation solutions and robotic process automation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to identify process improvement opportunities, automate repetitive workflows, and implement scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic environments where innovation, adaptability, and collaboration are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop, Copilot Studio, and other automation frameworks
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
Build and maintain end-to-end automated workflows and robotic process solutions
Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems and third-party applications
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation workflows and processes
Create and maintain technical documentation for automation solutions and processes
Support deployment activities and production implementation of automation initiatives
Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing automation solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation efforts
Required Qualifications
3–7+ years of professional experience in automation, RPA development, or related technical roles
Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate Desktop and Copilot Studio
Experience designing and implementing workflow automation solutions
Understanding of process mapping and business process analysis principles
Experience integrating applications, systems, and APIs
Familiarity with scripting or programming concepts (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar technologies considered an asset)
Experience using version control and automation development best practices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams
Comfortable working within regulated and security-sensitive environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions
Experience with tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar technologies
Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization concepts
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
Existing security clearance considered an asset
Experience supporting nuclear, energy, utilities, or enterprise environments considered an asset
Eligibility and Security (Mandatory)
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be eligible for Level 1 Security Clearance
Typical clearance processing timeline is approximately 3–5 months

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related discipline preferred.
