ABC Supply, North America’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler / Roof Loader to join our team. The Warehouse Material Handler / Roof Loader works closely with the Delivery Service Manager and delivery team to ensure safe and timely delivery of roofing materials to customers and job sites. The role involves both roof and ground-level deliveries, unloading materials from delivery trucks, and assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Responsibilities and Duties SDCB forklift operation. Safely unload building products, including shingles and multiple bundles, from conveyor booms on first or second-story rooftops. Delivery preparation and staging. Organize and maintain the warehouse/yard for ease of picking orders. Warehouse and yard cleanliness. Loading and unloading trucks and ensuring associated paperwork is correct. Able to lift 80lbs throughout the day and be able to work in various weather conditions when unloading/loading Necessary training is provided Monday – Friday shifts, 7:00AM – 4:00PM Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation Other duties as required The ideal candidate Can do heavy lifting Work hard in a fun atmosphere Roofing/Siding background is an asset MUST have steel-toed work shoes or boots A forklift license is preferred (willing to train) Willingness to learn and help in all areas (cross train) Strong customer service skills Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience Benefits may include Employees enjoy a comprehensive compensation package.
