Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work in a combined Cath and Interventional Radiology (IR) lab, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Circulate and monitor cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Conduct pre and post-procedure patient assessments and provide follow-up calls.
Manage an average of four cases per day involving both Cath and IR patients.
Required Qualifications
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Experience in Cath Lab procedures is required; IR experience or willingness to learn preferred.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and equipment including Epic, MacLab, and Siemens.
Work Environment
This position is located in a busy acute care division. The Cath Lab operates with two suites/labs and a collaborative team structure.
Schedule and Availability
Full-time shifts consisting of four 9-hour days per week.
Some weeknight and weekend call required, approximately every 3rd weekend.
Response time for call is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Additional Information
Dress code consists of provided scrubs in designated colors.
Orientation is conducted over several days following an initial general orientation.
Staff may be required to float to other units as needed within designated zones.
