As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of mothers and newborns. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver compassionate care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. - Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development. - Delegate patient care priorities effectively, based on staff education and experience. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in delivering patient care. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on nursing experience in Labor & Delivery. - Prior travel nursing experience is required. - Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring. - Ability to work with Navy Scrubs and no call requirements. - Local candidates will not be considered.
