Job DescriptionJob Description K-POP FRIENDS – Store Manager ( Full Time ) Location: Market Mall, Calgary, AB Company: Hyper Canada Ltd. (KPOP FRIENDS) About Us K-POP FRIENDS is a specialty retail store dedicated to bringing the latest K-pop albums, official merchandise, collectibles, and fan experiences to Calgary. We are preparing to open our first location in Calgary and are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to help lead our team and grow with the company. Position Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations Lead, train, and supervise store staff Manage inventory and merchandise displays Monitor sales performance and achieve store goals Ensure excellent customer service standards Schedule and coordinate staff shifts Receive and process inventory shipments Maintain store appearance and operational standards Support marketing and promotional activities Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally Qualifications Required Previous retail management or supervisory experience Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Reliable, professional, and customer-focused Preferred Qualifications Availability to work weekends and peak retail periods is strongly preferred Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends Experience in K-pop, entertainment, collectibles, or specialty retail Experience with inventory management systems Experience with social media marketing and content creation Bilingual in Korean and English is strongly preferred Candidates who can communicate with our Korea-based headquarters and work with Korean-language materials will be given strong consideration What We Offer Benefits package available for eligible employees Friendly and energetic work environment Opportunities for career growth within the company Opportunity to help build and lead a growing brand from the beginning Join Our Growing Team K-POP FRIENDS is launching its first Calgary location with plans to expand into additional cities and markets in the future.
