Job DescriptionJob Description If you have experience supporting clients in residential mental health or addictions settings and you're available full-time or part-time starting May 20, HealthOPM has contract roles open now in Brockville, Ontario. These positions provide contingency coverage in residential programs during a potential labour disruption. Shifts are available days and nights and the work is fast-paced, hands-on, and structured. Staff should be prepared to work in environments where peaceful protest or picket line activity may be present. Pay: $23–$25/hour depending on experience and location Who We're Looking For Candidates with a background in any of the following: Residential support, group home, or psychiatric settings Mental health, addictions, or concurrent disorders programs Developmental services, behavioural support, or community services SSW, CYW, DSW, Nursing, Health Sciences, or a related program Any healthcare or human services program — minimum 2 years completed Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide hands-on support to clients in a residential mental health and addictions setting Assist clients with daily living, personal routines, and programming Deliver behavioural and emotional support across shifts Assist with medication prompting and documentation Maintain a safe, stable environment in a residential setting Role Details Start: Orientation May 20 in Brockville, Ontario Type: Full-time short-term contract Shifts: 8-hour and 12-hour day and night rotations Pay: $23–$25/hour Mileage reimbursement available Limited accommodation support available — inquire when applying Requirements Minimum 2 years completed in a healthcare, social services, or human services program Residential, mental health, or addictions experience or placement an asset Current CPR/First Aid Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to placement Driver's licence and vehicle preferred for some assignments Must be comfortable working in a labour disruption environment About HealthOPM HealthOPM is a Canadian healthcare staffing agency placing professionals in contract, temporary, and permanent roles across clinical and community settings.
