Residential Sales Advisor (Plumbing)
to help homeowners identify the right plumbing solutions for their homes. This is an opportunity to use your technical expertise in a consultative role where you'll assess customer needs, recommend solutions, prepare quotations, and help guide projects from initial consultation through project approval.

The Opportunity
As the Residential Sales Advisor (Plumbing), you'll serve as the technical expert throughout the customer consultation process. Meeting directly with homeowners, you'll assess plumbing systems, diagnose issues, recommend practical and code-compliant solutions, and prepare accurate quotations using company systems and pricing tools. Working closely with operations, service technicians, dispatch, and customer service teams, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the continued growth of DNM Plumbing & Heating.
This position is ideal for an experienced Journeyperson Plumber or senior plumbing professional who is looking to transition into a customer-focused role while continuing to use their technical expertise every day.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-home consultations to assess residential plumbing systems and identify customer needs.
Recommend practical, code-compliant plumbing solutions and prepare accurate customer quotations.
Present and explain products, services, project scope, pricing, warranties, financing options, and recommendations.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service.
Manage appointments, customer follow-up, and assigned sales opportunities.
Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, community involvement, and other approved business development activities.
Work collaboratively with operations, dispatch, service technicians, installation teams, and customer service staff to ensure successful project execution.
Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales activities within company systems.
Achieve established revenue, gross margin, and performance objectives.
Stay current on residential plumbing products, technologies, codes, and industry best practices.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Certificate of Qualification (306A) as a Plumber with Red Seal Endorsement.
Minimum five (5) years of plumbing industry experience, including experience as a Plumbing Journeyperson or in a senior technical plumbing role such as estimating, project management, operations management, or technical sales.
Extensive knowledge of residential plumbing systems, installation methods, repair practices, water heating systems, drainage systems, fixtures, sewer systems, and applicable plumbing codes.
Demonstrated ability to assess residential plumbing systems and recommend appropriate customer solutions.
Strong customer service, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to prepare accurate customer quotations using company systems and pricing tools.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using CRM systems, tablets, mobile applications, and other business technology.
Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with an acceptable driver's abstract.

Expected annual earnings:
$75,000–$100,000, inclusive of base salary and performance-based commission. Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, sales results, experience, and other applicable factors. High-performing individuals may have the opportunity to earn above the posted range.
