About This Opportunity
If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada. As a full time Rehabilitation Assistant at our Barrie Huronia clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
Starting wage:
$18.00-23.00 per hour
Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
Uploading service provider reports
What You Need To Be Successful
A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong critical thinking and time management skills
Excellent communication and computer skills
The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
