Position: Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant – Expert
Pay Rate: $62.05/hr – $74.66/hr
Location: Vancouver, BC – Hybrid (3 days on site)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Responsibilities
Acquire deep understanding of the control environment and ongoing regulatory program deliverables and timelines
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to gather evidence and prepare responses to regulatory requests
Address audit findings and track remediation efforts
Identify compliance gaps and recommend mitigations – ensure compliance and identify risk
Prepare reports for management or regulatory bodies – curate responses to auditors (internal)
Interact with Application Security Leads that oversee SAST, OSS, DAST scanning and Penetration Testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders on integration to enterprise technologies
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience in a strong background in Control Testing and Application Security.
Experience in Defend evidence
Hands‑on experience with or strong understanding of Checkmarx, Nexus IQ, Burp Suite, and Snyk.
Experience with Audit and Regulatory Compliance.
Superb soft skills and stakeholder management. Ability to communicate deep technical and simplified details.
Audit regulatory compliance expertise.
Security risk management framework – in‑depth knowledge of best practices, industry framework, and risk management principles.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, CIAM, ITIL)
Previous work experience within the financial sector or other large enterprise industry
Understanding of application security concepts and testing methods such as penetration testing, SAST, SCA and DAST.
