Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCompany Description
At S&R Seniors Living, "We LOVE our Residents". Our affection for our residents runs far deeper than a brand or a logo—this philosophy envelops all that we do. Dedicated to our residents, our role is to ensure their good physical and emotional well-being, and to tend the needs of the heart. We are looking for people who, like us, believe the work we do has a positive impact on their community and that together we can continue supporting our Residents and their families.
Job Description
When you come to work at our Seniors Living villages, you are coming into a Resident’s home. Your feedback and input is used to improve our daily practices, and your energy goes a long way to putting smiles on our Residents’ faces. If you were working for us as an RPN, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
Worked with a multidisciplinary team comprising of dietary personnel, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, among others to help assess the new Resident
Lead the PSW team in providing care to your Residents
Take a Resident’s glucose reading during meal time, directing PSWs to help queue Residents and support them during meal time
Distributing medication to Residents and taking vitals
Talk with Resident and their families regarding care plans
Update care plans every 6 month or whenever there is a change in the resident condition
Accurately chart resident care, treatments, and changes in condition to support continuity of care
Working with the Home and Community Care association to support Residents
And supported your team as needed.
When you apply, if you have your registration in good standing with the CNO, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days). When you’re eligible with us for benefits, you can expect a variety of them:
Flexibility in shift scheduling to support your home life
When eligible, you can enjoy full range of Health benefits such as: dental, life insurance and AD&D, vision, physio, and extended healthcare paid 100% by employer (no deductible)
Pension/RRSP matching
And many Company Events like our annual recognition parties, team theme parties, lunches, outings, gift cards, and paid days off
We prioritize promoting from within and support our employees' educational needs because we care for the team we have put together. We come to our workplace each day understanding that we are entering our Residents' Home, and we are there to support them. While we don't take ourselves seriously, we take our jobs seriously and love to have fun with each other and the Residents!
