Position Overview As the RN Nurse Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of high-quality nursing care and the administrative management of the Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units. This role holds 24/7 accountability, requiring a leader who is proficient in delivering care to all assigned age-specific patient populations. You will work closely with each department to ensure excellence in the workplace for all caregivers and will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of exceptional clinicians. Key Responsibilities Fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with a unit manager position, including delivering high-quality nursing care. Administer administrative management for multiple nursing units, or for a large number of full-time employees, on a 24-hour basis. Maintain proficiency in delivering care to assigned patient populations, participating in related continuing education as needed. Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in progress. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience is required. Licenses and Certifications: A California Registered Nurse License is required upon hire. A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire. An NRP certification is required upon hire for employees in the L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum units.
