We pride ourselves on delivering individualized treatments that help clients reduce pain, improve movement, recover from injury, and achieve their wellness goals. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and professional Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing team as an Independent Contractor. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide safe, effective, and ethical massage therapy treatments. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records. Educate clients on home care, stretching, and injury prevention. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment room. Communicate professionally with clients and other healthcare providers when appropriate. Adhere to the standards of practice and Code of Ethics established by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Maintain client confidentiality and comply with PHIPA requirements. Qualifications Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Professional liability insurance. Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong assessment and treatment abilities. Reliable, self-motivated, and client-focused. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the clinic environment. Independent Contractor Requirements As an Independent Contractor, you will: Manage your professional registration and liability insurance. Be responsible for your own income tax, CPP, and other statutory obligations. Maintain professional standards and licensing requirements. Provide exceptional customer service and help build long-term client relationships. What Muscle Retreat Provides Fully furnished treatment room. Electric massage table and linens. Laundry service. Jane App online booking and charting system. Reception support (if applicable). Marketing through Muscle Retreat's website and social media. Professional clinic environment. Flexible scheduling. Established and growing client base. Compensation Compensation is offered as an independent contractor arrangement and will be discussed with qualified applicants.
