Back in Motion is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
to join our award‑winning team in Coquitlam. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians passionate about evidence‑based trauma treatment and collaborative care.
In this role, you will provide structured PTSD-focused treatment twice weekly to adult clients, working closely alongside our experienced mental health Occupational Therapists. If you value clinical excellence, teamwork, and making a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As a key clinician in our PTSD Program, you will:
Deliver evidence-based treatment (e.g., Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy)
Develop and implement individualized trauma-focused treatment plans
Maintain accurate clinical records and administer psychological assessments
Prepare written reports and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Use strong clinical judgment and intervene during crisis situations when required
Uphold Back in Motion’s standards, policies, and clinical best practices
What You Bring
Master’s degree
in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
Registered or eligible
to register with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
2+ years of clinical experience
, ideally in trauma-focused care
Skilled in counselling within rehabilitation or mental health settings
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
Experience supporting clients with trauma and PTSD
Commitment to evidence-based practice and client-centered care

Compensation Options
Contractor:
Up to
$70/hour
or percentage split
Employee:
Approximately
$45/hour
(commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity)
