Job Information
The Regional Manager, Finance and Administration coordinates and carries out all financial management, administrative and human resource functions for the Region and supports the delivery of programs by providing corporate, operational, and financial advice to the Superintendent and program managers. The incumbent manages the processing of all financial transactions and procurement originating in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for financial management to ensure an efficient and prudent operation in the Region.
Responsible for financial reporting and analysis to ensure timely delivery of reporting requirements.
Manages the Region¿s financial operations to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Provides for efficient and consistent application of policies and procedures in the region.
Responsible for effective human resource management and advice to the regional staff.
Provide effective information management and advice for the regional staff.
Provide other related duties as directed by the Regional Superintendent.
Key Qualifications
Post-secondary Diploma in finance or business, with three (3) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Relevant experience may include financial management and accounting work in a public sector or regulated environment, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and interpretation of legislation, policies, and standards.
Equivalencies may include:
A finance/bookkeeping or business certificate with five (5) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year of supervisory experience
