Our client is seeking a Recruiter to join the leadership team and lead the end-to-end recruitment of experienced residential and commercial mortgage brokers across Alberta and British Columbia. This role focuses on building a scalable, multi-channel recruiting engine that drives sourcing, conversion, onboarding, and long-term retention of high-performing brokers.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
Build and manage a multi-channel pipeline of experienced mortgage brokers through outreach, referrals, networks, and events
Attract and engage commission-based sales professionals through consultative, relationship-driven recruitment
Guide candidates through long recruitment cycles and convert them into signed and active brokers
Partner with onboarding and leadership teams to ensure smooth transition from offer to production
Maintain structured pipeline tracking using ATS/CRM tools and LinkedIn Recruiter
Monitor funnel performance from first contact through placement and activation
Deliver consistent quarterly placements while maintaining quality and retention standards
Support broker ramp-up to early productivity and funded deals within expected timelines
Strengthen brand presence within mortgage and financial services networks
Your strengths include:
4-7+ years of experience recruiting commission-based or independent sales professionals such as mortgage, real estate, insurance, or financial services
Strong understanding of broker recruitment and "book of business" dynamics
Established network in Alberta, with BC network considered an asset
Proven ability to manage long, consultative hiring cycles (6-18 months)
Strong pipeline management using ATS/CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
Highly developed relationship-building and consultative selling skills
Strong data-driven and structured recruiting approach
Ability to work in a high-performance, target-driven environment
Familiarity with EOS/Traction is considered an asset
