has an exciting opportunity for a Recreation Aide to join their team.

Part-Time
30 Hrs Biweekly
• Location: Villages at St. Clair - 1800 Talbot Rd, Windsor, ON N9H 0E3
The hiring rate for this role is $ 22.59 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

To be successful as our new Recreation Team Member, you will:
Be enrolled in/completed diploma or degree recreation/leisure studies and/or gerontology from a community college or university
Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care that focusses on flexible living and quality of life
Plan and implement programs
It would be an asset if our new Recreation Team Member has:
Knowledge of the five domains in Therapeutic Recreation that contribute to an individual’s health
Knowledge of recreational therapy practices, methods, techniques and opportunities to improve resident’s well-being and holistic health
An understanding of the relevant sections of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
