Job DescriptionJob Description Receptionist We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to support a busy office in a fast-paced industrial environment. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, vendors, and employees, you will play an important role in creating a positive first impression while providing administrative support to the office and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls. Manage visitor sign-in procedures while adhering to workplace safety and security protocols. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area and common office spaces. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation. Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist with travel arrangements as required. Order and maintain office supplies and monitor office inventory. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Assist with internal communications and general office coordination. Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset. Minimum of 2 years of receptionist or administrative experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or industrial environment is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Experience using a multi-line phone system is considered an asset. Position Details Temporary assignment (approximately 2 months), with the potential for extension based on business needs. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Fully onsite. Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour.
