J.D. Irving, Limited is seeking a Real Estate Project Coordinator / Analyst to support a diverse portfolio of real estate assets across Atlantic Canada, including industrial, office, retail, and large-scale residential developments.
Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, this role is critical to advancing active projects and transactions by coordinating stakeholders, supporting deal execution, and ensuring timelines are achieved across multiple files.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will actively advance land developments and transactions—helping bring new industrial, retail, office, and residential projects to life.

Transaction & Deal Support
Support acquisitions, disposals, and leasing transactions (APS, leases, easements, REOA’s)
Coordinate due diligence activities (appraisals, surveys, environmental, planning approvals, etc.)
Track and advance deals from initiation through closing
Project Coordination
Manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups across multiple active projects
Coordinate internal teams (Legal, Finance, Engineering, Operations) and external consultants
Ensure alignment and maintain momentum across all stakeholders
Analysis & Research
Conduct market, demographic, and site research to support decision-making
Assist with financial inputs, business cases, and presentation materials
Compile data for executive reporting and project updates
Documentation & Process Management
Prepare and manage real estate documentation and records
Maintain tracking systems for transactions, leases, and key milestones
Support continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows
Assist with preparation of presentations and briefings for senior management
Education
Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Commerce, or a related field
1–4 years of experience in real estate, development, consulting, or a similar environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work forward independently
Solid analytical capability with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
