Henkel is looking for a Raw Materials Planner to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Responsibilities: Analyze production and S&OP plans to determine packaging material requirements and ensure alignment with demand; Execute MRP planning and issue purchase orders based on lead times and inventory policies; Monitor and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of materials for both local and imported shipments; Track goods in transit and manage any last-minute adjustments to avoid production disruptions; Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with the safety stock model, preventing shortages and excess stock; Proactively resolve material shortages and mitigate any risk of out-of-stock situations; Share forecast requirements with suppliers to ensure material readiness and supply continuity; Manage and optimize consignment stock to ensure accurate stock movement and invoicing; Support new product launches, ensuring smooth phase-in/phase-out of packaging materials; Lead mold qualification and implementation activities for new packaging developments; Drive packaging optimization initiatives (downsizing, thickness reduction) to improve sustainability and reduce cost; Analyze inventory performance, highlighting slow-moving and obsolete materials, and define corrective actions; Track, evaluate, and report supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement; Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and cross-functional teams to align supply with operational needs; Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any quality issues or claims; Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Requirements: Higher Education (a Bachelor’s degree is a requirement); 1-3 years of relevant work experience; Fluent English; Self-motivated and results-driven person; Highly organized and accountable, able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment; Analytical and planning skills; Supply planning; S&OP and IBP; Material planning; Data analytics & BI; Process improvement; Project management; Knowledge of MS office, SAP.
