Job Description RESPEC is seeking an experienced QA Engineer Automated 3 to support a Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) technology program. The selected consultant will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building automated test frameworks, developing test strategies, performing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks. Prioritize test scenarios and create comprehensive test execution plans. Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for enterprise applications. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing activities. Analyze applications and identify opportunities for expanding software regression suites. Evaluate software changes and recommend testing approaches to ensure quality and stability. Document automated testing processes, procedures, and execution results. Prepare detailed analyses, diagrams, verification procedures, and testing documentation. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and end users throughout the testing lifecycle. Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. Support quality assurance efforts across multiple projects and priorities. Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis activities. Assist with continuous improvement of testing methodologies and QA processes.
